I publish this comment from Stacy as the post, so it will have more exposure. This issue has to be explored. In our opinion, the present Condo governing bodies are illegitimate.

If I understand this issue correctly, Ms.  Bishop concealed before her election to the Board in 1989 that she did not pay her maintenance for a long time and she accumulated about $6,000 in debt. Two liens were issued against her property. And she had to be in good standing financially to get elected.

Thank you, Stacy, for drawing our attention to this matter. Besides that, there were no Condo owners meeting for the last three years, therefore the Board members mandates expired three times over, and all of them are illegitimate.

The situation is, that we do not have a legitimate governing body for this condo. Besides that, the current nominal Board and its chair’s willful and deliberate lack of attention to the most important issue that we are facing, as it was discussed at the meeting of 5.24.23, is equivalent, in our opinion, with CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE. We will take the necessary actions. 

The second issue that Stacy raised, which echoes with my suspicions, is if Ms. Bishop uses and abuses her position as the Condo Board Chair for her own illegal financial gains. There are some circumstantial hints for this line of thought. This has to be very carefully investigated, in my opinion. 

I also think that this fact: lying and concealment, with the aim to get into the office, disqualifies her from holding the present and the future office positions. Obviously, it was some practical, and possibly some  monetary gain for her in holding this office: her debts miraculously disappeared soon after she was elected under the false pretenses.

Grace Bishop ran for a president and a treasurer before but never told anyone that she didn’t pay her maintenance and had 2 liens filed against her unit twice.

FALSE ELECTION ! Concealment! She handles thousands of dollars in accounts and overspends on fees. See attached documents. Did she tell you that before she got elected? 

Election Fraud does not have an expiration date.  Like in politics, it does not matter when it happened. If Grace Bishop never told people during election that she did not pay her maintenance many times and had 2 liens filed twice, nobody would have voted for her to get elected as a president. In real life politics, she would be facing criminal charges.
